Research topics

  • Mathematics education with Guy Brousseau's theory of didactic situations and Yves Chevallard's anthropological theory of didactics as the main theoretical frameworks.
  • Analysis of teaching practices and learning from kindergarten to early secondary school
  • The concept of recovery (Larguier, 2005, 2009) between systematic revision and advances in chronogenesis.
  • Teaching digital and algebraic concepts
  • Study of entry into algebra
  • Language analysis, particularly using the theoretical framework developed by the Bordeaux team led by Bernié (concepts of gender secondaryization and discursive community).

  • TU mathematics in the MEEF first degree master's program, in the MEEF mathematics master's program, in the first degree master's program for qualified teachers
  • TU related to the thesis in previous master's programs
  • TU Primary Education (MEEF) with a focus on project-based teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for several teaching units in the various master's programs mentioned above
  • Scientific director of the Hérault departmental mathematics group and the IREM primary school group.
