Research topics

Technological research program for training, focusing on three areas: a) analysis of "situated activity" in the workplace (teaching, health, sport), b) "activity-oriented" design of training situations, and c) analysis of the activity of players in these new training environments. Study of the phenomena and processes of professional learning and development opened up by the use of video resources in training (alloconfrontation and autoconfrontation).

Teaching

Frameworks for analyzing activity; methods for accessing experience; core training: classroom management, conflict management, assessment, learning, secularism, differentiated teaching, different teaching contexts, analysis of practice; video training; professional support.

Responsibilities

  • Director of the TF&D (Travail, Formation et Développement) research team, comprising 22 teacher-researchers at LIRDEF, EA 3749 (since 2004).
  • Director of the CTE EEF "Conseil Thématique d'établissement Epistémologie, Enseignement, Education, Formation" at the University of Montpellier 2 (2013-2016).
  • Elected member of the Board of the Faculty of Education at the University of Montpellier (since 2013).

  • Scientific leader of the TERE "Travail Enseignant, Relation Educative" course, Master Métiers de l'Enseignement, de l'Education et de la Formation, PIF specialization (since 2015).
  • Academic scientific manager of theTU Common core "Interdisciplinary professional support group", common to the Master's 2 "Second degré" courses at the 5 universities (450 students, 20 trainers and 40 school heads) (since 2010).
