Research topics
Technological research program for training, comprising three components: a) analysis of "situated activity" at work (teaching, health, sports), b) "activity-oriented" design of training situations, and c) analysis of the activity of actors in these new training spaces. Study of the phenomena and processes of professional learning and development enabled by the use of video resources in training (alloconfrontation and autoconfrontation).
Lessons
Activity analysis frameworks; methods for accessing experience; core training: classroom management, conflict management, assessment, learning, secularism, differentiated instruction, different teaching contexts, practice analysis; video training; professional support.
Responsibilities
- Director of the TF&D (Work, Training, and Development) research team, consisting of 22 research professors at LIRDEF, EA 3749 (since 2004).
- Director of the CTE EEF (Thematic Council for Epistemology, Teaching, Education, and Training) at the University of Montpellier 2 (2013-2016).
- Elected member of the Faculty of Education Council at the University of Montpellier (since 2013).
