Thesis (2024–2028):“Does Autism Really Exist? An Ontological Exploration and Epistemological Break at the Frontiers of ‘Neurodiversity’.”
My doctoral research examines the ontology of autism and the shifting boundaries between the normal and the pathological, from an interdisciplinary perspective inspired in particular by Foucault and Lefebvre. I am particularly interested in the sociological, educational, and cultural implications of the evolution of ASD diagnostic criteria, and in how the concept of “neurodiversity” is reshaping our understanding of autism as a human variation.
