“Institutional Discourse and Professional Practices in Social Work: Between Standardization and Support for the Process of Subjectivation.” Drawing primarily on discourse analysis, I examine the practices and representations of social workers who work with adults, focusing on the concepts of subjectivity and personal goals. These inquiries concern the institution, the training of social workers, and, more broadly, changes in social welfare.
