POSITION: Associate Professor in Mathematics Education

RESEARCH TOPICS

My research falls within the field of mathematics education and focuses on the practices of primary and secondary school teachers. The focus is on teachers' documentary work, i.e., the work they do outside and inside the classroom to design their teaching material.

  • Analysis of the practices of high school mathematics teachers engaged in multidisciplinary teaching and required to design and implement lessons based on investigative approaches. Role of the collective and resulting professional development.
  • Study of the impact of initial training on the practices of novice teachers during math problem-solving sessions in elementary school.

Lessons

Most of my teaching is in the Multidisciplinary Bachelor's Degree and the MEEF Primary Education Master's Degree, but I also teach in the Science Education Master's Degree and the MEEF SNT – NSI Master's Degree.
