RESEARCH TOPICS

My research is in the field of mathematics education.

Topics

  • My research focuses on developing a framework grounded in the discipline, its epistemology, and its practices as they relate to addition and subtraction in elementary school. This framework serves as a practical tool for analyzing teaching practices and as a framework for instructional design.
  • The second focus of my work, building on my research into digital learning and mathematics instruction, centers on solving addition problems in first grade (students aged 6 to 7).
  • The third focus of my research lies at the intersection of research and education. The research aims to examine and shed light on the practices of those involved, and is further informed by the outcomes of the program.
