Egalisup: "From secondary to higher education: equality for all?

LIRDEF is a partner of the third international symposium "From secondary to higher education: equality for all?", to be held at the University of Rouen Normandy from June 22 to 24, 2026. Following on from the previous editions held in Montpellier in 2020 and Rennes in 2023, this event will continue the collective reflection on the issues of equal opportunity and equal success in higher education.

This meeting will bring together researchers, education professionals, institutional players and associations to examine persistent, emerging or reinforced inequalities at the junction between secondary and higher education. The aim is to promote a collaborative, multi-disciplinary analysis, with a view to devising concrete avenues for genuine equality of access and success for all.

The Egalisup 3 symposium has three main themes:

  • inclusion of new audiences,
  • orientation between secondary and higher education
  • assessment practices and remedial measures.

Applications must be submitted by November 1 at the latest.
