Whether for educational, political, or cultural purposes, textbooks organize knowledge, shape the imagination, and today play a key role in the major digital and educational transformations taking place.

OnMay 28 and 29, 2026, theFaculty of Education at the University of Montpellierwill host a two-day event featuring lectures, workshops, and discussions bringing together researchers, educators, publishers, and institutional representatives to address current issues: 

  • ideological and historical issues, 
  • changes in teaching practices, 
  • the construction of academic knowledge, 
  • artificial intelligence and digital education.

Featuring speakers from numerous French and international universities.
