Quality of vocational training

Under the guidanceof the Scientific Committee of the Skills Investment Plan, Dares is issuing a call for research proposals on the topic of the quality of vocational training.

This research project aims to contribute to a better understanding of the concept of “quality” in the field of continuing vocational education and training, moving beyond assumptions on the subject. The proposed research areas aim to shed light on the definition, measurement, and assessment of quality for populations considered to have few or no qualifications.

  • Axis 1 of this call focuses on the quality of training programs as a standardization process, examining the resulting challenges for training organizations;
  • Axis 2 seeks to better clarify the potential link between the quality of training and effectiveness;
  • Axis 3 explores the concept of quality as the co-construction of a service relationship, with the aim of better understanding the pedagogical practices and ecosystem configurations that may result from it.

Projects are due by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021.
