Digital Humanities: Engagement and Learning at University
June 23-25, 2025 Montpellier(France)
The Digital Humanities: Engagement and Learning at Universitysymposium offersa reflection on the role of digital humanities in transforming teaching and learning practices at university. Going beyond simple technological digitization, we will examine relationships with knowledge, issues of inclusion, and pedagogical dynamics in the digital age. Our reflection will be structured around three themes:
- Digital citizenship: educating informed and responsible citizens through a better understanding of digital practices.
- Teaching and learning methods: adapting teaching approaches to stimulate student engagement, autonomy, and success.
- Training programs: promoting educational innovations that enable students to take charge of their own learning.
Organized as part of the Nexus project at Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 University, this symposium invites researchers, teachers, and students to discuss the conditions for a university that is fully adapted to the contemporary challenges of building inclusive and efficient learning environments in the digital age.
