The Cedrhe Notebooks

"Les carnets du Cedrhe" kicks off the year with the publication of two new articles on Hypotheses:

Dare to think, dare to act—a bold initiative?

Whistleblowing: A Form of Counter-Discourse Education?

Since 2016, the platformhypotheses.org, a platform for blogs in the humanities and social sciences, has hosted our research blog: “Les carnets du Cedrhe: Toward a Socio-History of Education and School Culture”

whose editorial board consists of Manuel Bächtold, Fréderic Torterat, Sylvain Wagnon, and Hélène André.

Our research journals address questions related to the field of “education” in the broadest sense, from a “historical” perspective, while also aiming to take a critical look at the history of the present.

The published articles are presented as reflections or opinion pieces (category “controversies”), or as empirical or theoretical studies (category “analyses”), or as accounts of real-world practices (the “practices” category).

The blog “Les carnets du Cedrhe” is, by its very nature, a collaborative effort, and its goal is to spark discussion and offer food for thought.
