The Cedrhe Notebooks
“Les carnets du Cedrhe” kicks off the year with the publication of two new articles on Hypotheses:
Dare to think, dare to act—a bold initiative?
Is whistleblowing a form of counter-narrative education?
Since 2016, the platformhypotheses.org, a platform for blogs in the humanities and social sciences, has hosted our research blog: “The Cedrhe Notebooks: Toward a Socio-History of Education and School Culture”
whose editorial board consists of Manuel Bächtold, Fréderic Torterat, Sylvain Wagnon, and Hélène André.
Our research journals address issues related to the field of “education” in the broadest sense, from a “historical” perspective, while also offering a critical examination of contemporary history.
The published articles are presented as reflections or opinion pieces (category “controversies”), or as empirical or theoretical studies (category “analyses”), or as accounts of practices in the field (category “practices”).
The blog “Les carnets du Cedrhe” is by nature a collaborative effort and aims to spark discussion and offer food for thought.
