Effective practices of analytical reading in secondary education in France and Belgium
- National research project initiated by Sylviane Ahr, professor at Jean Jaurès University (Toulouse), and led by Sylviane Ahr and Isabelle de Peretti (University of Artois).
- In association with numerous research centers, Ema and CRTF (Cergy Pontoise), Textes et cultures (Arras), Litextra (Stendhal University, Grenoble), LLA Creatis (Jean Jaurès University, Toulouse), Crépidis, UCL (Louvain-la-Neuve), and ALFA LIRDEF (Montpellier).
- 13 researchers involved in France and Belgium.
- The protocol will first focus on analyzing teaching and learning situations in literature, as well as the choice of teaching materials and tools. This protocol aims to vary the fields of investigation from a geographical and sociological perspective.

Objectives
• Analyze the effects of teaching practices on student learning
• Identify the conceptions of literature and its learning on which these practices are based
• Identify areas where literature teaching practices could be transformed with a view to adapting them to the culture and society of our time
• Identify points of discontinuity between the two cycles of secondary education with a view to ensuring continuity in learning.
