RESEARCH TOPICS

My research is in the field of mathematics education.

Topics

  • My work focuses on developing a framework based on the discipline, the epistemology of the discipline, and disciplinary practices related to addition and subtraction in elementary school. This framework proves to be effective both as a tool for analyzing aspects of teaching practices and as a framework for instructional design.
  • The second focus of my work, building on my research on digital learning and the teaching of arithmetic, centers on solving addition problems in first grade (students aged 6 to 7).
  • The third focus of my research lies at the intersection of research and training. The research aims to examine and shed light on the practices of those involved and is further informed by the outcomes of the program.
