CIFRE contract at CNAF

As part of its mission to encourage research, the Caisse Nationale des Allocations Familiales (Cnaf) is offering a three-year fixed-term contract, backed by anindustrial agreementfor training through research (Cifre).

Applications are open to students enrolling for the first year of their thesis in 2021-2022. Only research in sociology, anthropology or ethnology, political science, demography, economics or management will be considered. The gross annual salary is €25,000 for three years.

The research activity is entirely devoted to carrying out the thesis, with an average of one day per week spent at Cnaf. Cnaf does not particularly expect applied or operational thesis projects.

For Cifre thesis projects and prize-winning article proposals, the subject of research must be the analysis of family and social policies or social phenomena related to families or precariousness. As such, research on other countries must include a genuine comparative dimension with France.

Applications can be submitted until March 15, 2021. The selection panel will meet on June 24, 2021.
