SPD Seminar Feb. 12, 2021

The "Savoirs, Pratiques, Didactique" reading seminar originally scheduled for January 15 will now take place on Friday February 12, with a possible presentation by a doctoral student of his or her research (a call is out to doctoral students and their thesis supervisors: let us know if you would like to present on this date).

The seminar will feature discussion of an article by Alain Muller and Valérie Lussi-Borer published in 2018 in Recherches et Formation: "How to work with teaching norms in collaborative inquiry? Vers une prise en compte de la rationalité pratique ". In line with the theme of the "Between knowledge and practice, questioning teaching/learning objects" axis, Muller and Lussi-Borer's text will lead us to explore the idea, central to the article, that norms, purposes and rules are inherent to practices. This will enable us to discuss this point of view with that of JF Halté, for whom "values are not teaching objects"(linked document).
